Allied victory.
No Axis reinforcements reach Omaha.
Allied Casualties: 125
Axis casualties:175

Allied Commander:
Pfc. Scrapper [502nd PIR] [1-1]

The planning process went as thus: I split allies into two squads with respective NCO's. TSgt. Sheridan was tasked with assaulting OFH, so he split his squad into two teams, 2lt. Zimmerman leading the second team. TSgt.'s fireteam took the hedgerow alleyways while 2lt. headed teh main road. Both squads were told not to push directly to OFH until my squad, consisting of Pvt.'s Castle, James, and Law, later Pfc. Rexton, and 3 members of OSS were to capture Cabbage Farm and flank the Germans down the main road. The main road and hedges encountered heavy resistance from what I understand, and my squad encountered light engagement at the Cabbage farm. We captured the farm and OSS split of of our squad due to a prior agreement and watched the Hotel and waited for us to move up the road to flank German lines. The rest of my squad, me James and Castle at this point, were outnumbered 5-3 until one well placed frag brought the odds down to 2-3, but I realized the flaw in my plan was trying to flank to far south of the objective. At this point the road and hedges were on defense until my word, and we flanked through cabbage farm building to the hotel. 2 rogue-esque Germans decided to come back to hotel and we were in a firefight for around 5-8 minutes before we advanced towards OFH by the way of the back alleys, narrowly escaping a German patrol on the way. My squad, then James, Castle , and I were at the back road of OFH, secretly capping it. I ordered a push and units broke through, but only some were able to make it to the building and clear it.

TSgt. regrouped his squad and sent them to flank the road from the left alleys at which point an enemy mg was suppressing our position t the crossroads at OFH. I ordered my men to regroup at Cabbage while the main assault squad distracted the main German force. We flanked from cabbage to hotel and capture it while Germans fell back to defend the church. The OSS guys were already in town square north and the rush to the church began. The whole ally team, except for the OSS, was at the gates of the church, prior to this the axis tickets had run out. when the allies outnumbered the Germans at the church, the countdown began, and I ordered no one to enter range of the front doors to preserve our tickets, as there were still heavy German defenses inside the church itself. We promptly won with 75/200 tickets remaining within my own estimate of 1 hour-1 hour 15 minutes, and it was an Allied victory.

Axis Commander:
FSgt. Martens [502nd PIR]
it was a heavy fight, especialy in the beginning it was like 30 minutes holding the bushes
but then our cabage flank broke and they started flanking us from behind
so i gave the order to defend folks and thereit took like 20 minutes more to defend it, maybe even longer
then they broke us and we had to retreat to hotel and defend it
we killed lots and the enemie had heay losses but then they came with even more
and we couldn't hold them so we had to retreat again and we setted up 2 MG's at the road
and about 4 guys next to him nd about 5-6 guys defended the right flank axis vieuw
but they flanked us via cabbage again so they easily killed the MG's and they took the east part of the villag
then we had to retreat to the church and there was allot of teamkilling when we said AXIS COMING IN
the MG still fired so we had to defend it arround it but the allies had an MG pointed
at our spawnwhen our tickets where out and i said to him i would ban him if he would do it again
and then we lost

Axis victory.
50 Axis reinforcements move to Omaha Beach.
Allied Casualties: 186
Axis casualties: 111

Allied Commander:
Col. Drew [22nd AB NA] I tried splitting. But then pusshed all cabbage. Failed. Pushed all old folks failed. We got old folks only once. For some reason they were recapping. Wasnt sure if that should be allowed. Got demolished. by 60 tickets.

Axis Commander:
Sgt.aek-zach22 [22nd AB EU]

As the planning phase begun it was decided to operate in a structure of 3 squads each with its own NCO leading it. I was the first NCO leading my squad of 2 riflemen 1 mg and 1 sniper into main road, second squad was led by Gen.Killeruk and it consisted of 5 troops and was tasked with holding cabbage farm as well as the flanks to church and hotel, the third squad was led by Rec.Thorsten of the 502nd and his squad contained 6 people and he was tasked with holding the trenches.

As the match begun all squads took positions and the allies made their first rushes in an effort to capture cabbage by brute force, they failed as they were picked off by the mg on the main road leading to cabbage as well from rifle fire from Gen.Killeruk's squad. After sustaining heavy losses the Allies attacked the main road with snipers forcing my squad to fall back, they then assaulted and succeded in capturing Cabbage, sustaing heavy losses in the process.

Meanwhile our losses had been minimum as of that point, and we were still firmly holding main road as well as the trenches and the approaches from cabbage. After increasing attacks from the allies, the defense at trenches buckled and the allies poured out, flanking the main road as well as pushing hard on the axis position of Old Folks Home, meanwhile Gen.Killeruk and his squad had retaken Cabbage Farm and were holding it fiirmly. After intense skirmishes the decision was made to leave 2 snipers at cabbage farm and have the rest of the force defending OFH.

By this point intense close combat had occured with many losses on both sides, the allies managed to break through to OFH and even capture it but successful counterattacks by axis forces kept the allied presence at OFH to a minimum. Allied forces were then pushed back from OFH ,suffering heavy losses, to the trenches. After that point the axis sufferred moderate losses to flanking attacks by allied forces but nevertheless were able to hold the approaches to OFH. The match ended with an Axis Victory with 66 tickets left

I immediately set out to organizing my team with a reserve component of battle-hardened veterans. I chose Alessio to lead this squad with Sqn Leader.Krates [13th SAS], Wg Cdr.Elias Lockhart [13thSAS], and Unknown. I made another squad with SSgt Smith [2-26] and gave him 4 other players in addition to T/3. Ranger [22nd AB NA] as his 2nd in command. Finally I made a 4 man squad led by Col. Drew [22nd AB NA]

2nd Lt. Barnaby [504th RET] would be my XO and float around with me making sure things were running smoothly. I didn't plan on doing a whole lot of fighting myself so I chose a fireteam leader class with an m1 carbine.

Drew's 4 man squad with an MG was to rush to meet up to the intersection leading to the cabbage farm and set up for any enemy probes towards cabbage. Smith's 6 man squad was to rush to the flooded gully heading to the Old Folk's Home. And Alessio's 4 man squad was to take up positions near the orchard near the Cider Farm in reserve.

When we jumped at 1938 hours I landed close to the gully and took up position there and met with my XO until Smith's squad arrived to probe forward in the gully.

The defensive precautious at Cider Farm proved mostly unnecessary as no enemy attack of the landing zone came. The Germans did capture the Cabbage Farm however (apparently from the back way) and I ordered Alessio's squad to move to cover the road into town while Drew's took the Cabbage Farm. Smith's squad met moderate opposition in the flooded gully. Drew's squad was able to capture the Cabbage Farm relatively quickly after a couple attempts when I ordered Alessio to probe into town down the road.

I then headed to Cabbage to make sure it was properly defended from enemy attack. After sending Drew's team the back way to Hotel, I grabbed [B.M.O] Nexus (1) from Drew's squad and headed to the fields beyond Cabbage to post him for picket duty when we ran into 3-4 man enemy squad. We killed two but were overwhelmed and I called Drew's squad back to fight them off. Over around 10 minutes, numerous enemy counterattacks were fought off by Drew's squad with many casualties but wiping out each squad that came.

I finally posted Drew and another to defend cabbage and ordered the rest of Drew's squad to join Smith's squad attacking Old Folks. Around this time, Smith and Alessio's squad were capturing Old Folk's and I ordered Alessios to mop up and Smith's to move on Hotel.

I arrived at Old Folks some time later and met Barnaby and figured out that the Axis had a stiff defensive line near the road at Hotel. Alessio petitioned to take his squad to flank through Cabbage and I agreed. Around 30 minutes of fierce fighting over the Hotel ensued with Smith's squad often being pinned on the road. Near the old folks home we faced a counterattack on our far left flank and I posted one sentry on that flank to alert of future attacks.

While moving forward on the road I stumbled upon a large German squad to the left of the road flanking our left, I fired quickly and sprinted back and ordered several from Smith's squad to intercept them through the houses. Ferocious fighting then expanded over there. Taking hotel was proving to be an exorbitant task as I noticed we'd taken around 75 casualties and only gained a few yards. Around this time Alessio's squad was flanking again after being killed the first time and had success flanking a farther back path with Drew's 2 man team guarding cabbage joining them.

This wasn't enough to crack the hotel defenses as at least one MG had the road locked down and the bulk of their team nearby. I decided to become more actively involved in the assault and deployed smokes and directed more players to use the left route towards hotel. Smokes and grenades allowed us to move in and assault the hotel after several attempts.

Around the same time, Alessio's squad broke through the enemy's rear and assaulted the back of the hotel from the back door and behind them on the road, holding off enemy reinforcements as we wore the defenders at the hotel down.

Despite capturing the hotel, I knew they might be back so I sent Alessios squad to cover the back path to the hotel and kept the MG on the road. Around this time the Germans ran out of reinforcements and we began a general attack, taking unnecessary casualties from the jubilation. We continued pushing until we ran into the church where some of the last defenders held out. A number of men were killed from friendly fire at the church door from grenades before the victory was complete at 2021 hours with a small number of defenders remaining trapped inside the Church.

To my surprise the event started out smoother than usual. There was very little retarding and foolish behaviour. The commander of the axis team was Sargent Conway who at the beginning of the round organized us and brought the axis team to the front of the Old Folks Home. From there we were split into squads. I myself was the Truppfurer the members of my squad were Thanatos, ADABUD and Luca. Sargent Conway then told the squads what they were to do at the beginning of the round. My squad was to defend the Old Folks Home. Once everyone had received information on their role we broke off into our squads and waited until the round was to start. While we were waiting we noticed Conway had stopped moving, knowing basic First Aid I checked his pulse and found nothing. With great sadness we had to bury our leader. After Conway went to a better place I became the Commander of the axis team. From the start everyone knew the plan and we rushed out of the gate eager to push the American intruders out of our land. All was quiet for five minutes, then the first squad appeared. ADABUD cut them all down the the MG42 while dodging enemy fire and grenades. Thanatos and I were defending our mg as he was our only hope of keeping our old people safe The other squad were sent to flank the Cabbage farm. Wave after wave of enemy squads arrived and died , but eventually we were all killed and the Old Folks Home was taken.

I instructed all available men to setup and defend the hotel while a select few others attempted to push through enemy lines and retake Old Folks Home. Myself, Thanatos and two others shot our way through the enemy lines and and attempted to reach Old Folks' but we were met with overwhelming enemy opposition with each attempt. After a few unsuccessful attempts we decided our best bet would be to defend the hotel at all costs. All of our men setup in defensive positions all around the perimeter of the Hotel and waited for our foe to arrive. Eventually they did arrive and were met with plenty of mg and rifle fire. We held the Hotel for nearly the rest of the round. Nearing the end we decided it was best to fall back and defend the Intersection with what few remaining tickets we had. Nearing the last ten tickets we made a break for the church, some of us were gunned down in the streets as we ran to the church. Dodging enemy fire most of us made it to the church unscathed. There we setup and made our final stand. The enemy showed up and offered a option to surrender. I instructed my men to fight to the end. Many men were lost in the process from explosions and enemy fire. To escape with our lives Two of us made it into the attic of the church and then the round ended. With more tickets we could have kept hotel.

I'm very proud to have lead the axis team, they fought with everything they had. Everyone cooperated and there were few confusions. Id like to thank the squad leaders for making everything run smoothly and for helping to make difficult choices throughout the round.
